To be honest, I wasn't implying it to be open/free... But you could have a private access for your books' owners, and if it contains code usually an online version is more convenient for the reader to experiment the code. 🙂

I have thought about it. Currently doing a mix of free online books and some with a more traditional model (like Modeling Mindsets).

Still trying to weigh the pros and cons for each approach.
But for Modeling Mindsets I don't plan to create a web version
